General Lee Aviation is a growing fixed-wing flight training organization operating from Wetaskiwin and Lacombe, Alberta. We are adding Class 1 and Class 2 Flight Instructors to support continued growth while maintaining a strong focus on safety, mentorship, and training quality. Our instructors work collaboratively to deliver professional, consistent, high-quality flight training in a supportive environment.

- AMO with over 50 years of operating history.
Duties
- Provide flight instruction to students in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations and company policies.
- Colabriate with CFI to provide supervision and mentorship.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and training materials for various flight maneuvers and procedures.
- Conduct ground school instruction on topics such as aerodynamics, aircraft systems, air law, navigation, and weather.
- Supervise and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain a safe learning environment with emphasis on pilot decision making and crew resource management.
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills to track student progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive learning experience for students.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective instruction and communication with students.
- Solid math skills for calculating aircraft performance, weight and balance, fuel consumption and logbooks.
- Mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems and components beneficial for troubleshooting and maintenance support.
