Job Description
Requirements:
Journeyman designation or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Provide own tools and willingness to acquire tools as required for jobs.
Red Seal is preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to perform CVI inspections, and familiarity with transportation regulation.
Knowledge of tools required to perform repairs and maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.
Ability to follow schedules, instructions, technical manuals and maintenance guidelines, and other procedures associated with the maintenance of company fleet assets.
Experience using diagnostic software is preferred. Must be computer literate and willing and able to be trained in software systems.
Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and communicate with customers and external vendors.
Ability to be a self-starter capable of working effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributor.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
